Can You Help Us With Our Exhibit?

The exhibit is an ongoing project.

These are things we're always looking for!

  • Stories about life in Crow Head
We're asking people to share their memories about their time in Crow Head.
    * You do not have to have been a resident to have memories!
If you have memories from time spent in Crow Head, we want to hear them!
All stories, regardless of roots, will help us better portray what life in Crow Head used to be like!
    How to Submit:
We are accepting memories/stories in any format!  We  will pick them up or you can email them to niki.spear@crowhead-nl.com
      • Written or typed
      • Via an interview setting
      • Recorded (audio or video).  We can come to you to record or you can record privately and share the file  with us!
  • Stories/Memories/Photos regarding Sea Breeze Park.
We're short on all matter concerning  Sea Breeze Park. We'd love to scan your  photos and hear your  stories, or stories passed  down to you!
  • Details to support images we've obtained (facts and/or stories).
We've been collecting photos, but many are not accompanied with names, dates, or the story behind the photo.
If anyone is interested in looking at what images we have, to see if you have any facts or stories that support the images, please contact Niki Spear via Private Messag,  Email, or Phone/Text.

What is the Crow Head Historical Exhibit?

Our Mission

The Crow Head Historical Exhibit shares the rich history of the Crow Head community. Inspired by the stories and photos captured of this once thriving town located on the northeast shores of Twillingate Island, the Exhibit will preserve the stories that depict what life was like in times past and share the industries and activities that defined the Town and its people. We will foster connections among individuals through the care and interpretation of each contributor, collection, and presentation of exhibitions and educational initiatives.

Our Vision

Through the contributions and voices of those that grew up here and the memoirs, letters, and photos left behind to their loved ones, the growth of the Crow Head Historical Exhibit will be ongoing. The exhibit intends to continue to provide additions such as demonstrations that will depict common processes, activities, and practices common to the community’s daily life. Plans for interactive exhibits will also be part of this growth.

Our Purpose

We intend to reunite immediate and regional communities and strengthen ties and relationships via the compilation and exhibition of Crow Head’s histories. The histories and captures will remind younger generations of their heritage, provide knowledge and understanding to visitors, and stir the memories of aging generations.
